Rimmel London Goodies

Hello there readers:)
As you might know, I recently did a video on the new Rimmel London Mascara. It was part of their competition to try out a free mascara they sent out and do a video review on it. If you haven't already seen it check it out on our channel.

Anyways, yesterday I recieved an e-mail saying that I was one of the runners up and that my video was on the website and part of the testimonial video.
They also sent me a little bag full of Rimmel London goodies which I thought I would show you. Also, apologies for the poor quality of the pictures, the lighting isn't great!

So firstly is the Apocalips lipgloss in Apocaliptic. You may have heard about these as literally everyone is raving about them! I already own two of them in 'Apocaliptic' and 'Big Bang' so I am going to give this one to Clo. They apply really nicely and the pigmentation is mindblowingly strong. It looks like a glossy lipstick on the lips but applies like a lipgloss. It does smudge very easily which isn't ideal for me as I am very clumsy and always getting messy but if you dab it with a tissue it works well.

This is the Cocktail Colour nail polish in Baby Bellini, which is a really vampy purple with a bit of shimmer to it. It applies and dries really quickly and the brush is a good size so I am happy about this one:)

The next item is the 9-in-1 BBcream. This is quite convenient as I have nearly run out of my other one and I did want to try this next. It is in the colour Medium so I think it will suit me but I'll just have to see. I haven't got much to see about it at the moment as I haven't used it enough but it might come up in later posts or videos.

Now moving on two eyes. This Scandal Eyes shadow stick is a great dupe for the Clinique ones for just a fraction of the price. It came in the colour Bad Girl Bronze. It glides, applies and blends really nicely.

Next is something I have also been wanting..this eye primer. It is supposed to keep your eye make up on for longer and make it waterproof which is quite snazzy really. I don't own an eye primer so I was really glad to receive it.

Lastly is a Scandal eyes pencil in silver. I do own a silver eye liner but it is liquid so I do quite like it. I am a bit unsure on how to wear silver/if it looks good on me though, I will try it out more.

So thats it! Thank you very much for Rimmel London for sending me all this, it is much appreciated:)

My new bag

Hi😝

I recently went shopping with Flo for a new school bag and I was very successful. We looked in quite a few stores but ended up going back to one of our favourites, Topshop. As you probably know we both have a minor obsession with this shop.

Personally I wanted a bag that would be practical and fit all my books in but I also wanted it to look fashionable and on trend. When I saw this I knew it was just right.

From the practical side, it's the perfect size for books and other things I feel the need to carry around and it has.a shoulder strap so I can carry it like a satchel if its a little heavy. From a fashionable point of view it has the monochrome detailing on the sides, the gold clasp, zip and side clasps and is a bowler bag shape.

London Fashion Week

As you might know, Clo and I went to London Fashion Week on Sunday 17th February. It was our first one and it was such an amazing experience.
Everyone was so individual and unique, I didn't see anyone wear the same thing!
The atmosphere and vibes of everything were amazing, I have never been in a place where every single person truly cares about what they are wearing. I think seeing everyone's outfits has really encouraged me to be more out there with my choice of clothing as I saw how no one cared that they stood out and how everyone took it as a good thing.
We also met Sandra Haglestem again. Her blog is amazing and if you haven't seen it then go and take a look-

After walking around Somerset house for a bit and taking photos, we went to the Bloody Gray exhibition. Some of the things that caught our eyes were Jayne Pierson's collection (as pictured above)

Tom Van Der Borght. This one seems to be a bit more on the dark and crazy side, look at those amazing shoes!

Bas Kosters
This collection was very playful, yet dark. They used a lot of monochrome with splashes of red. I really liked this collection.

And finally...Jane Bowlers collection.
As you may know, Clo and I were raising money in January to help Jane with her fundraising. We got to meet her and she was so lovely, introducing us to a lot of people. So thank you:)
Of course her collection was breathtaking as well!

We are having difficulties uploading the video of the run but it will be on as soon as possible!
We will also do a blog post on our favourite outfits and people that we thought were dressed well.

Weekend Outfit

As I go to school, the weekends are really the only time I get to wear whatever I want. This is an outfit I wore to have lunch with a friend on Sunday.
Here I am wearing;
Red chunky knit jumper - New Look
Denim Pinafore Dress - Topshop
Grey Tights - Primark
Watch - Vivienne Westwood
Handbag - Mulberry
As you can see, I'm still not brave enough to brave the British weather and pop out my Spring tops, so a knitted jumper it still is! I have tried to incorporate some s/s colours, like bright red.
I am also wearing my new apocalips lipgloss in 'Big Bang' from Rimmel London. I recently purchased two of these as I heard a lot of bloggers raving about them, and yes, they are definately worth the hype. Along with this one I bought more of a pink colour in 'apocalyptic'. You can find them in boots for £5.99
