Flower Headwear

Firstly I feel an apology is in order. Recently Flo and I have had exams so have had to put them before the blog, many apologies for that.

But Flo and I have still kept up to date on the latest trends and we have noticed an incoming of floral headband and we think they will be great for summer and in warm weather and that they will add an interesting twist to any outfit. We have paired together two outfits which will be perfect for styling these statement pieces.

The firt outfit we haves come up with is the perfect outfit to wear to a party or out for dinner in the evening. It consists of black wet look denim shorts from Topshop- £28, with a basic white shirt, also from Topshop- £22 and a studded black leather jacket also suprisingly from Topshop which was bought in the sale for just £30! We have accesorised it with some gorgeous magenta velvet slippers, once again from Topshop that cost £7 in the sale with an amazing white and magenta flower crown from Primark- £3. We have put this with a bright magenta/pink lip colour which is the Clinique chubby stick intense in the shade 'plushest punch'. This outfit could be worn more casually if you swap the leather jacket for a chunky cardie and the slippers to Converse. It is a good outfit for the season we are in because it has the monochrome look with a pop of colour to make it more playful and young.

The next outfit we put together would be perfect for going out for dinner on holiday or an outing with friends. We have put a peach/pink floaty maxi skirt from Primark- £11 with a  white lace crop top also from Primark- £3 and another black leather jacket from Topshop but this time with gold studs it also cost just £30! We have put it with some black studded creepers  and a gorgeous flower crown that Flo actually bought in Thailand, it is much smaller than the crown in outfit 1 so is better for those less daring and prefer a more modest style. In this outfit we used Clinique chubby stick in woppin' watermelon, it compliments the skirt well

Thanks for reading, Clo xo
